Figuring Out Who We Are
How do we want to show up? What is our brand personality? We need to sit down and contemplate this because once we do that, we can figure out how to communicate that to the people that we want to work with. We’ll know who we’re drawn to work with because we understand who our personality is, and how that interacts with our ideal clients. It’s really important that you figure out what your brand personality is. This takes time. It takes sitting down, figuring out who you are as a person, and how you actually want to express that to the world via your brand presence. This includes your website, your social media posts, e.t.c.
Now, authenticity is key. I obviously am a huge believer of being authentically YOU. We have to remember though, that we want to be ourselves in our most high-vibe, happy, professional sense. In order to figure out what those adjectives look like for us, we have a bit of work to do. First we have to define them for ourselves, then we should think about how we embodying that.
We’ll have to think about the things that we say and do, because ultimately our brand personality is a reflection of our own personality. Oftentimes, it’s a more polished, professional and best version of ourselves so that our ideal clients will be attracted to that version of who we are.
You obviously don’t want to be showing up when you’re kind of low-vibe, not having a great day, and not really feeling like yourself. While we’re all entitled to that, and sometimes we do have to share that vulnerability, it is really about saying who we are overall. It’s about how others are looking at who we are as a person, and how we’re showing up.
